Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day

I figured it was about time I wrote about a movie that is in theatres. I watched this movie during Spring Break. Now, unlike what it infers in the title the movie doesn't all take place in one day. Most of the main, heart-tugging moments though happen in one day. In this movie, Miss Pettigrew is a nanny who starts to work as a social secretary for wannabee actress Delysia (played by Enchanted's Amy Adams) and ends up changing multiple peoples lives including hers. We all learned how well Amy Adams can sing in Enchanted, so it is not surprising that she also sings in one of the scenes.
Overall, this movie is sweet, silly, and could possibly be confusing. There are plenty of sexual inuendos and partial nudity. There is a good cast along with Amy Adams including Frances McDormand as Miss Pettigrew, Ciaran Hinds (Phantom of the Opera and Persuasion), Lee Pace, Tom Payne, and Shirley Henderson (Bridget Jones's Diary and Harry Potter as Moaning Myrtle).
I hope that you all can see this movie in the theatres. I know that it taught me that it is never too late to give up on hope and on love.

I definitely agree with the underlying theme of this movie as being "its never too late to find hope." In my opinion its hard to understand how someone could lose it to begin with but as long as they realize its never too late usually things work out. This movie really isn't for me but I definitely agree with its theme.
